I have always loved taking something old or worn and making it look new again. My love of painting and carpentry has been with me since childhood.
While in wood shop my passion grew and I became involved with many high school painting and carpentry projects. After graduating I worked with my cousin in his painting business for several years which allowed me to hone my skills with a brush and roller.
I continued to improve those skills as well as learning to spray with an airless, HVLP and conventional spray equipment for spray finishes. Eventually my passion grew as my professional career and Lucas Painting was established in 1988. Over the years our company has become known for providing the highest quality standards in our industry.
We especially love refinishing kitchens and antique furniture. We have our own controlled facility for spray finishing and restoration of cabinets, millwork and furniture. This has also expanded into automotive restoration as my hobby, doing an occasional job for friends and family.
Our main focus for customers is almost anything paint related including stains, clear coats, wood restoration, decorative painting including glazes and antiquing. Our services also include interior painting, finish carpentry, drywall repairs, texturing, exterior painting and pressure washing.
With so many things to refinish, restore or re-purpose I will continue to enjoy my work as a painter and restoration professional.
